Landscape print sizes: the same ratios, turned sideways
Short answer: a landscape print is the same ratio turned on its side: 36 × 24 instead of 24 × 36. You still need five files, just wider than they are tall.
Landscape files at 300 DPI
| Ratio | Largest size | Pixels at 300 DPI |
|---|---|---|
| 3:2 | 36 × 24 in | 10,800 × 7,200 |
| 4:3 | 24 × 18 in | 7,200 × 5,400 |
| 5:4 | 20 × 16 in | 6,000 × 4,800 |
| 14:11 | 14 × 11 in | 4,200 × 3,300 |
| ISO | A1 landscape | 9,933 × 7,016 |
Panoramas are different
Very wide art, like 1:2 or 1:3 panoramas, does not fit these ratios without heavy cropping. Sell it as its own size.
In PrintRatios, choose Landscape and all five files are made horizontal.
