When buyers ask for 3:4
18 × 24 is a very common poster frame, and 12 × 16 a common mid-size one. 3:4 is also the shape of many phone and tablet screens, so art drawn on an iPad often starts close to it.

Questions people ask
Is 18x24 a 3:4 ratio?
Yes. 18 divided by 24 is 0.75, the same as 3 divided by 4.
Can a 3:4 file print as A4?
Not exactly. A4 is slightly taller (1:1.41 instead of 1:1.33), so the ISO file is the better choice for A sizes.
